How I Train
Movement is the key to becoming your fittest! My programs are based around functional movement which incorporates balance, stability and physically demanding activities that benefit any client.
I will design your program specifically for you using years of experience and scientific knowledge in weight training, endurance training, yoga, and nutrition.

Humans are more technologically advanced than anytime in history, yet obesity has reached epidemic proportions and we are more sedentary than ever. I believe a balance between cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, nutrition and spiritual life is what creates a strong and effective program. I use body weight first and foremost as a base of assessment. Body weight training has been used successfully for centuries.  The body is an amazing and complex system in and of itself.  Simply using your body against gravity is extremely effective.

Furthermore, I use fitness equipment that supports my training basis of functional movement such as stability balls, weight bars, dumbbells, the TRX system, speed ladder, Free Motion equipment, the Gravity and good old body weight!

I will assess your current level of fitness using the following criteria:

  • Body Weight
  • Body Fat (using calipers and bioelectrical impedance)
  • Girth Measurements
  • Resting heart rate
  • Resting blood pressure
  • Postural analysis
  • Cardiovascular test (sub max VO2 test and rate of perceived exertion scale)
